Hayden T. Klemenok went missing after entering Chilnualna Creek near Upper Chilnualna Falls in Yosemite National Park.
Klemenok slipped into the fast-flowing creek on Sunday while wetting his face, according to his parents.
Authorities have been unable to locate Klemenok and are urging anyone with information to contact Yosemite Park dispatch.
A GoFundMe campaign has been started to support Klemenok's family during the ongoing search and rescue effort.
Water-related accidents are a leading cause of deaths within Yosemite National Park, especially during the current season of high runoff.
