Victim had expressed fear of losing custody battle due to husband's influential father, according to friends.

  • Samuel Haskell IV, son of a former Hollywood agent, is charged with three counts of murder, accused of killing his wife, Mei Li Haskell, and her parents, Gaoshan Li and Yanxiang Wang.

  • Authorities allege Samuel was observed dumping a trash bag into a dumpster that contained a human torso, believed to be Mei's. The remains of Mei's parents have not yet been found.
  • Neighbors reported unusual activities at the Haskell home around the time of the alleged murders, including an odor that smelled like rotting flesh and sounds of a child yelling out for help.
