Honda Recalls 1.2 Million Vehicles Due to Rearview Camera Malfunction

Honda is recalling nearly 1.2 million vehicles in the U.S. due to rearview camera issues.
The recall covers certain Odyssey minivans, Pilot SUVs and Passport SUVs from 2018 to 2023.
The problem was traced to a faulty coaxial cable connector which can prevent the rearview camera image from appearing on the dashboard screen.
Without a rearview camera image, driver visibility is impaired, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will replace a cable harness and install a straightening cover on recalled vehicles at no charge to customers who will be notified by letter.
