How to Obtain Sharp Fangs in Monster Hunter Wilds

Sharp Fangs, essential for crafting early armor and charms, can be harvested from small monsters in specific regions of the game.

Sharp Fangs are primarily dropped by small monsters such as Gajios, Talioth, Piragill, and Kranodath, found in various regions like Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and Oilwell Basin.
Gajios, located in the rivers of Windward Plains (Areas 8 and 10), are the easiest and most reliable source for Sharp Fangs as they exclusively drop this material.
Talioth, a raptor-like creature in Area 11 of Windward Plains, also drops Sharp Fangs but has a broader loot pool, making Gajios a more efficient option early in the game.
Sharp Fangs are used to craft the Talioth Vambraces and Chatacabra Coil, which provide defensive bonuses and water resistance for early game encounters, including battles against the Balahara.
