Iconic Drummer of Cult Punk Band Butthole Surfers Dies at 60

Teresa Taylor, drummer for Butthole Surfers known for their audacious and nihilistic style of punk music, died at age 60 from lung disease.
Taylor honed her skills in her high school marching band before joining Butthole Surfers in the 1980s.
Taylor left the band after suffering seizures and appeared memorably in the film "Slacker."
After leaving the band, Taylor worked at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
At the time of her death, Taylor was writing a memoir about her time in Butthole Surfers.
