An Illinois deputy, identified as Deputy Milner, delivered a DoorDash order after the original driver was arrested during a traffic stop.
The incident, which took place on January 14, 2024, was captured on a Ring doorbell camera and later shared by the Kane County Sheriff’s Office on social media.
The customer, surprised by the deputy's delivery, initially thought the driver had been in an accident.
The arrested driver, named Abrahan J. Salazar Salas, was charged with unspecified misdemeanors.
DoorDash has not yet responded to inquiries about the incident.
