Two suspects, a 23 year-old male and 22 year-old female, charged with the first-degree murder of a single mother, Jonnie Angel Klein, during an alleged robbery at an ATM, also linked to several other armed robberies in the Chicago area and northwest Indiana.

  • Jonnie Angel Klein, a 32-year-old mother of two, was shot and killed while using an ATM in Worth, Illinois, an act believed to have been an attempted robbery.
  • Two suspects, 23-year-old Jason Jerry Joseph Johnson and 22-year-old Tamara Jailynn Johnson, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to Klein's death.
  • Multiple firearms were recovered during the arrest, one of which is believed to have been used in the shooting.
  • The suspects are also linked to several recent armed robberies in the Chicago area and northwest Indiana according to the police.
  • In addition to being a mother to a 14-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter, Klein worked at Dunkin Donuts and was also a caregiver for her ailing mother.
