Illinois Mother of Two Fatally Shot at ATM in Worth, Suspects Linked to Multiple Armed Robberies Arrested

Two suspects, a 23 year-old male and 22 year-old female, charged with the first-degree murder of a single mother, Jonnie Angel Klein, during an alleged robbery at an ATM, also linked to several other armed robberies in the Chicago area and northwest Indiana.

Jonnie Angel Klein, a 32-year-old mother of two, was shot and killed while using an ATM in Worth, Illinois, an act believed to have been an attempted robbery.
Two suspects, 23-year-old Jason Jerry Joseph Johnson and 22-year-old Tamara Jailynn Johnson, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to Klein's death.
Multiple firearms were recovered during the arrest, one of which is believed to have been used in the shooting.
The suspects are also linked to several recent armed robberies in the Chicago area and northwest Indiana according to the police.
In addition to being a mother to a 14-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter, Klein worked at Dunkin Donuts and was also a caregiver for her ailing mother.
A GoFundMe page has been launched by Klein's family to cover funeral expenses and to support Klein's children financially.
