Instagram Enhances Notes Feature with Video Statuses and Multimedia Replies

Users can now post two-second looping videos and respond with audio, photo, video, GIFs, and stickers, expanding the platform's interactive capabilities.

Instagram has updated its Notes feature to allow users to post two-second looping video statuses, visible to mutual followers and Close Friends for 24 hours.
Video Notes can only be created using the front-facing camera and must be captured in the Instagram app.
Alongside video Notes, Instagram has also introduced multimedia replies to Notes, including audio, photo, video, GIFs, and stickers.
Instagram's Notes feature, launched in December 2022, was initially seen as a potential competitor to Twitter, allowing users to communicate using text statuses.
The addition of video and multimedia replies to Notes is seen as a move to enhance user engagement and creativity on the platform.
