Intensive Search Underway for Missing British Teen in Tenerife Mountains

Jay Slater, 19, disappeared after attempting an 11-hour walk back to his accommodation following a music festival.

Jay Slater was last heard from on Monday morning with a low phone battery and in need of water.
He had been attending the NRG music festival with friends and got lost while trying to walk back.
A large-scale rescue operation, including mountain rescue teams and a helicopter, is ongoing.
Slater's mother has flown to Tenerife to aid in the search efforts.
The British Foreign Office is in contact with local authorities and supporting the family.
