A high-speed chase led to the suspects' capture in Eupen, Belgium, where firearms were seized and a police officer and suspect were injured during the operation.
Ferrara, infamous for a 2003 prison break involving explosives and armed accomplices, had been released from prison in 2022 after serving most of a 17-year sentence.
