Iowa State Senator Arrested During Annual Bike Ride, Maintains Innocence

Iowa state senator Adrian Dickey was arrested during the RAGBRAI bike ride.
Dickey was charged with a simple misdemeanor for not following a law enforcement officer's instructions.
Dickey posted a $300 bond and has a court hearing scheduled for August 8.
Both Dickey and his lawyer declined to comment but maintain his innocence.
The incident occurred when Dickey refused to move a large group of people blocking the road.
