Iranian navy commandos seized a U.S.-bound oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman
The tanker, Advantage Sweet, is Turkish-managed and Chinese-owned
Iran claims the tanker was seized over it running into another Iranian vessel, but has provided no evidence
The U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet says this is at least the fifth commercial vessel taken by Iran in the last two years
The vessel's manager, Advantage Tankers, says the crew members are safe and being escorted by the Iranian navy to a port on the basis of an international dispute.
