Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Driver After Alleged Ramming

Israeli security forces shot and killed a Palestinian man after they alleged he swerved into oncoming traffic in an attempt to attack civilians and forces.
A video showed Israeli soldiers firing at the man repeatedly after he had fallen to the ground.
The Israeli military claimed the man was carrying a knife and tried to stab a policeman in addition to attempting to ram his vehicle into people.
The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the deceased as Ahmed Taha, a 39-year-old Palestinian security officer.
Tensions between Israelis and Palestinians have escalated this year with over 90 Palestinians and 19 Israelis killed in violence.
