Jackbox Games to Launch Smart TV App with Cloud Streaming

Jackbox Games is partnering with Amazon to release a dedicated smart TV app using AWS GameLift Streams for cloud gaming.
The app will initially launch in beta on one or two smart TV platforms in spring 2025, with plans to expand to additional platforms later.
At launch, a limited selection of games will be available for free, supported by ads, as a preview of the full experience.
Jackbox aims to eventually include its entire catalog of 53 games via a subscription model, offering an ad-free experience.
The new app eliminates the need for a console or PC, allowing users to play Jackbox's popular Party Packs directly on their smart TVs.
