The 900-square-foot house, purchased for $143,800 in March, is being renovated by Goode Development and real estate agent David Lorrison.
The home, located at 93 North Rembert Street, has been a pilgrimage site for fans and will now serve as a tribute Airbnb.
Developers aim to honor Buckley without turning the site into a commercialized 'hipster’s Graceland.'
Jeff Buckley lived in the house while working on new music before his accidental drowning in the Wolf River in 1997.
The renovation coincides with the 30th anniversary of Buckley's only studio album, 'Grace,' and a resurgence of interest in his music on platforms like TikTok.
