Jesse Alvarez Convicted of Murdering Ex-Girlfriend's Fiancé

Alvarez claimed self-defense, alleging Fierro tried to seize his firearm during a confrontation.
Prosecutors argued Fierro was unaware of Alvarez's presence and was shot six times, including four times in the head.
Alvarez faces life in prison and is scheduled for sentencing on May 10.
