Jessica Capshaw Returns to 'Grey's Anatomy' in Season 20

Capshaw to reprise her role as Dr. Arizona Robbins in a guest appearance, marking her first return since 2018.

Jessica Capshaw is set to return to 'Grey's Anatomy' as Dr. Arizona Robbins in the show's 20th season, with her first appearance scheduled for April 4, 2024.
Capshaw's return was announced at ABC's Television Critics Association's winter 2024 press tour, following her departure from the series at the end of season 14.
Ellen Pompeo, who plays Dr. Meredith Grey, will also make a return in season 20, appearing in four episodes and providing voiceovers.
Capshaw's character, known for being one of the first LGBTQ series regulars on network television, left the show to move to New York City with her ex-wife and daughter.
Season 20 of 'Grey's Anatomy' premieres on March 14, 2024, on ABC.
