Jill Scott, Ellen White and Anita Asante Inducted into Women's Super League Hall of Fame
Trio Honored for Their Outstanding Contributions to Women's Football in England
- Former England internationals Jill Scott, Ellen White and Anita Asante have been inducted into the Women's Super League Hall of Fame.
- Scott made 175 WSL appearances, won four Women’s FA Cups, three League Cups and a league title with Manchester City.
- White, England’s record goal-scorer with 52 goals, made 144 league appearances and scored 61 goals, making her the league’s all-time goal-scorer at that time.
- Asante, who played as a defender or defensive midfielder, made 47 appearances in the WSL for Chelsea and Aston Villa and won five English league titles and four FA Cups with Arsenal.
- The trio were inducted at a special event at the National Football Museum in Manchester.
