Compensation increase follows bank's record-breaking $49.6 billion annual profit in 2023

JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon received a 4.3% pay raise in 2023, bringing his annual compensation to a record $36 million.
The pay increase follows JP Morgan's record-breaking annual profit of $49.6 billion in 2023, the largest ever for any US bank.
Dimon's compensation consists of a $1.5 million base salary, $5 million in cash, and $29.5 million in performance share units.
Other top executives at JP Morgan also received substantial compensation, with President Daniel Pinto earning $30 million and asset and wealth management chief Mary Erdoes earning $27 million.
Dimon has led JP Morgan for 18 years, making his tenure one of the longest in the big banking sector.
