June Diane Raphael Joins 'Legally Blonde' Prequel as Elle Woods' Mother

June Diane Raphael has been cast as Eva, Elle Woods' mother, in the upcoming 'Legally Blonde' prequel series on Amazon Prime Video.
'Elle' will follow a teenage Elle Woods, played by Lexi Minetree, as she navigates high school and the experiences that shape her into the iconic character from the original films.
The series is created by Laura Kittrell, who also serves as co-showrunner alongside Caroline Dries, with Reese Witherspoon executive producing through her Hello Sunshine banner.
Jason Moore, known for directing 'Pitch Perfect,' is directing the first two episodes of the series, which is produced by Hello Sunshine and Amazon MGM Studios.
Raphael, known for roles in 'Grace and Frankie' and 'Abbott Elementary,' continues her collaboration with Witherspoon, having appeared in 'The Morning Show.'
