Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar Settle 5-Year Legal Dispute Through Mediation

Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar have resolved their long-standing legal battle through mediation after five years of court proceedings.
The dispute originated from a 2016 meeting where Akhtar allegedly urged Ranaut to apologize to actor Hrithik Roshan, leading to defamation suits filed by both parties in later years.
As part of the settlement, both Ranaut and Akhtar have agreed to withdraw their respective legal complaints against each other.
Ranaut shared on Instagram that Akhtar has graciously agreed to write songs for her upcoming directorial project.
The resolution follows a December 2024 agreement to mediate, marking the end of a high-profile feud in Bollywood.
