Kansas and Illinois Basketball Teams to Play Charity Exhibition Game for Hawaii Wildfire Relief

Kansas and Illinois men's basketball teams will play an exhibition game on October 29 to raise money for Hawaii wildfire relief efforts.
All proceeds from the game hosted at Illinois' State Farm Center will go to the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.
The charity game was organized by coaches Bill Self and Brad Underwood to help the Hawaii community impacted by devastating wildfires.
The teams hope the event will raise awareness and funding to support wildfire recovery efforts in Hawaii.
In 2017, Kansas previously held a preseason charity game and raised $2 million for hurricane relief.
