Karch Kiraly Appointed Head Coach of U.S. Men's Volleyball for 2028 Olympics

The legendary volleyball figure transitions from coaching the U.S. women's team to lead the men's team in Los Angeles.

Karch Kiraly, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, will coach the U.S. men's volleyball team through the 2028 Olympics.
John Speraw, the former men's team coach, has been named President and CEO of USA Volleyball.
Kiraly led the U.S. women's volleyball team to Olympic medals in the last three games, including gold in Tokyo.
The U.S. men's team, currently ranked third globally, won bronze at the recent Paris Olympics.
Kiraly's appointment brings him back to Los Angeles, where he first won Olympic gold in 1984.
