Karl Vilips Secures First PGA Tour Win at Puerto Rico Open

Vilips overcame a fierce challenge from Denmark's Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, who briefly took the lead with a streak of six birdies on the back nine before Vilips reclaimed control with three consecutive birdies.
Vilips' victory broke the tournament scoring record by five shots, further solidifying his reputation as a former junior golf prodigy with a history of record-breaking performances.
Neergaard-Petersen finished second with a closing 63, earning a spot in the Valspar Championship, while Joseph Bramlett and amateur Kieron Van Wyk rounded out the top finishers.
