Keke Palmer Revives Jamie Lee Curtis' Iconic 1985 Chanel Gown at 2025 SAG Awards

The actress paid homage to her scream queen predecessor by wearing the vintage black velvet dress Curtis first donned nearly 40 years ago.

Keke Palmer wore a 1985 archival Chanel gown to the 2025 SAG Awards, previously worn by Jamie Lee Curtis in 1986 at the First Annual American Cinematheque Award Salute to Eddie Murphy.
Both stars styled the black velvet strapless dress with matching black opera gloves, staying true to its original runway presentation.
Palmer's stylist, Molly Dickson, sourced the vintage gown from Vintage Martini Consignment in Dallas, Texas, in December 2024.
Palmer presented an award at the ceremony alongside Colman Domingo, while Curtis attended as a nominee for her role in the Gia Coppola-directed film 'The Last Showgirl.'
The event marked another standout moment for Palmer, who also won Entertainer of the Year at the NAACP Image Awards the previous evening.
