A Kentucky couple has been accused of trying to sell their newborn twin girls to a family member for $5,000.
Zackary Davis and Jacquilyn Keith, the parents, were arrested and are facing charges of promoting human trafficking.
The accusation came to light after the couple's sister-in-law reported them to the police, providing messages and a recorded conversation as evidence.
The parents, who are scheduled to appear in court on March 25, claimed they were joking about selling the twins.
Both parents remain in jail, unable to post the $10,000 bail set for each.
