Kentucky Woman Charged with Murdering and Dismembering Mother

Torilena Fields allegedly shot, stabbed, and dismembered her mother before cooking her body parts, according to a grand jury indictment.

Torilena Fields, 32, has been indicted for the murder and dismemberment of her mother, Trudy Fields, in Mount Olivet, Kentucky.
The indictment accuses Fields of shooting her mother in the head and stabbing her multiple times before dismembering the body.
Fields allegedly cooked parts of her mother's body in a pot found in the oven, which was still warm when police arrived.
Fields also faces charges of animal torture for allegedly killing a dog and is being held on a $1.5 million bond.
Family members expressed shock, noting Fields had recently returned to Kentucky after a severe motorcycle accident in California.
