Kenyan Cult Leader and 94 Others to Face Charges Over Mass Deaths

Kenyan cult leader Paul Mackenzie and 94 others are set to be charged with murder, terrorism, and other crimes in connection with the deaths of over 400 people, including children, found in mass graves.
The victims, members of Mackenzie's Good News International Church, were allegedly encouraged to starve themselves to death in preparation for the end of the world.
Many of the bodies exhumed showed signs of starvation, strangulation, and suffocation.
Among the 95 suspects, 64 were initially treated as victims but later found to have children who had died in the forest.
Mackenzie, who has been in custody since April last year, denies responsibility for the deaths.
