Kerala Teen and Neighbor Found Dead Weeks After Disappearance

The 15-year-old girl and 42-year-old man were discovered hanging from a tree near her home in Kasaragod after being missing for nearly a month.

The girl, a Class 10 student, and the man, a taxi driver, were reported missing on February 12 by the girl's family in Kasaragod, Kerala.
Their mobile phones had been switched off since their disappearance, prompting an extensive investigation and search effort by police and locals.
A 52-member police team discovered their decomposed bodies hanging from a tree in a forested area near the girl's home on Sunday morning.
The two individuals were reportedly in a relationship, and initial suspicions point to a possible suicide, though investigations are ongoing.
The bodies have been sent for autopsy at Pariyaram Medical College, and further inquiries are underway to determine the circumstances of their deaths.
