Kiln Secures $17M Funding for Global Expansion of Crypto Staking Platform

- Kiln, an institutional crypto staking platform, has raised $17 million in a funding round led by 1kx, with participation from Crypto.com, IOSG, Wintermute Ventures, KXVC and LBank.
- The funding will be used to fund Kiln's global expansion plans, including the establishment of its APAC Singapore headquarters in Q1.
- Kiln's total funding now stands at $35 million, having previously raised $17.6 million in 2022.
- The platform has increased its staked assets under management by more than five times in 2023 to reach $4.2 billion.
- Kiln is now the largest operator of Ethereum validator nodes, representing some 4% of the Ethereum network.
