Kings Fan Spat on 10-Year-Old Cancer Patient and Oilers Superfan

A 10-year-old girl, Cecily Eklund, was attending an LA Kings vs. Edmonton Oilers playoff game as a guest of Oiler Evander Kane and a cancer charity
Eklund was wearing an Oilers jersey when a Kings fan allegedly spat on her.
Kane called the incident “gross and completely unacceptable” and urged kindness from fans.
Despite the incident, Kings fans have donated thousands to Eklund’s charity.
Eklund will sell charity bracelets at Tuesday’s pivotal Game 5 in Edmonton which is tied 2-2.
