Ryan Baggaley, the owner of Delta Construction and Electric Co. in Los Angeles, has publicly criticized Democratic politicians he voted for, including L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and President Joe Biden, following a burglary at his business.
A group of at least 10 thieves used a stolen vehicle to break into Baggaley's business, stealing and damaging thousands of dollars worth of equipment and tools.
Baggaley expressed frustration with the increasing rate of break-ins in his neighborhood and the perceived lack of action from the politicians he supported.
The vehicle used in the burglary was reportedly stolen from a Los Angeles Police Department impound yard.
Despite the launch of a task force in August 2023 to combat retail theft and robberies in Los Angeles, Baggaley and other business owners continue to face challenges.
