- Ken Potts, who witnessed the Pearl Harbor attack while working on the USS Arizona, has died at age 102.
- Potts was operating a crane transferring supplies to the Arizona when Japanese planes bombed the ship on December 7, 1941.
- Potts and other sailors rescued some crew members in their boat and witnessed the Arizona sinking just nine minutes later.
- Lou Conter, 101, is now the sole remaining survivor of the USS Arizona.
- Although other survivors have had their ashes placed on the sunken battleship, Potts did not want that.
