LeBron James' Home Court, a museum dedicated to the NBA superstar, is set to open in Akron, Ohio, on November 25th, 2023. The museum will feature memorabilia from James' life, his school days, and his successful basketball career.
The museum will provide a multimedia experience and will feature a re-creation of James' childhood apartment, showcasing artefacts from his early life, schooling, and career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.
Among the items on display will be James' all-white suit worn at the 2003 NBA Draft, his jersey from the McDonald's All-American game, and an original backboard and rim from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, where James started his basketball career.
The museum is situated at House Three Thirty, an establishment founded by James' foundation to serve the community of Akron.
All proceeds from ticket sales at the museum will be invested back into the local community, demonstrating James' ongoing commitment to supporting his hometown.
