Liverpool Coach Arne Slot Fined and Banned After Explosive Referee Confrontation

The FA disciplinary panel sanctioned Slot for his aggressive behavior and expletive-laden remarks following a dramatic Merseyside derby.

Arne Slot, Liverpool's head coach, received a two-match touchline ban and a £70,000 fine for his conduct after the 2-2 draw against Everton on February 12.
Slot reportedly told referee Michael Oliver, 'If we don’t win the league, I’ll f------ blame you,' and called the officiating 'a f------ disgrace.'
The FA's written report described Slot's behavior as confrontational and aggressive, with the manager admitting to some of the charges but disputing certain phrases attributed to him.
Slot's assistant, Sipke Hulshoff, was also banned for two matches and fined £7,000 for his aggressive actions toward the officials.
Both Liverpool and Everton were fined for failing to control their players during a mass confrontation triggered by late-game tensions, including a controversial 98th-minute equalizer and inflammatory celebrations.
