Los Angeles Homeowner Deters Armed Robbers With Concealed Handgun, Incident Caught on Camera

LA Man Fires at Intruders to Protect Family Inside House; LAPD Investigating While Community Faces Rising Gun-Related Crimes

The homeowner, who prefers to stay unidentified, was approached at his front door by two armed intruders but managed to fend them off with a concealed handgun, an incident that was caught on his home surveillance cameras.
The Los Angeles man believed he had been followed home and activated his concealed carry permit out of concern for the safety of his wife, children and nanny who were inside the house at the time.
Despite feeling something was wrong, the homeowner stated that he made a mistake by wearing earbuds, which he believes might have made him an easier target for the robbers.
The owner fired multiple shots at the fleeing intruders but remains uncertain if any of the bullets instilled injury. No harms were caused to the homeowner during the incident.
Located in a city undergoing a surge in gun-related crimes, the incident has been turned over to Los Angeles police department for further investigation.
