Luton Town Captain Discharged from Hospital After Cardiac Arrest

Tom Lockyer, who suffered a cardiac arrest during a match, has had an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator fitted and is now beginning rehabilitation at home.

Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer has been discharged from hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest during a match against Bournemouth.
Lockyer has had an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) fitted to prevent a repeat of the incident.
The cardiac arrest Lockyer suffered was different from the atrial fibrillation he experienced during a match in May.
The match against Bournemouth, which was abandoned due to the incident, will be replayed at a later date.
Lockyer is now beginning a period of rehabilitation at home.
