Luxury Car Hit-and-Run in Pune Claims Life of Food Delivery Executive

Rauf Akbar Shaikh, a food delivery executive, was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a speeding Audi in Pune's Koregaon Park area.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, between 1:30 am and 1:35 am, as Shaikh was returning home.
Ayush Pradip Tayal, a senior executive at a multinational company, was identified and arrested after police reviewed CCTV footage.
The police are investigating whether Tayal was under the influence of alcohol during the accident, with medical reports pending.
This case follows a similar high-profile hit-and-run incident in Pune involving a minor, highlighting ongoing concerns about road safety and accountability.
