Luxury cruise ship freed after running aground in Greenland with COVID-19 cases onboard
- Luxury cruise ship Ocean Explorer ran aground in Greenland on Monday.
- The ship was carrying 206 passengers and crew members when it got stuck in a fjord in the remote Northeast Greenland National Park.
- Three passengers tested positive for COVID-19 and were isolated onboard.
- After multiple failed attempts, the ship was successfully freed at high tide on Wednesday.
- No injuries, environmental damage or hull breaches were reported.
