Overview

  • Inaugurated by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the three-day Narsinghpur summit featured an Agri-Horti Expo showcasing drones, AI-driven equipment, polyhouses and other modern farming technologies.
  • The government granted 1,744 acres to 46 industrial units that have pledged about Rs 24,500 crore in investments, with an expected creation of roughly 35,000 jobs.
  • Investment proposals totalling Rs 30 lakh crore have been received under the Year of Industry and Employment drive, projected to generate 22 lakh jobs across the state.
  • Officials announced a global agriculture summit in Sehore from October 12–14, 2025, alongside plans for new agro-based parks spanning 102 hectares in Narsinghpur and 52 hectares in Mandla.
  • State schemes unveiled include distributing solar pumps to 32 lakh farmers, supplying electricity at Rs 5 per unit and raising milk production from 9 percent to 20 percent.
