Maharashtra Teen Completes SSC Exam While Father's Funeral Takes Place

16-year-old Disha Ubale from Latur displayed remarkable resilience, attending her Marathi exam as her father's last rites were performed.

Disha Nagnath Ubale, a Class 10 student from Bhada village in Latur, Maharashtra, wrote her SSC Marathi exam on Friday despite her father's passing the previous evening.
Her father, who had been battling an illness, was cremated while Disha attended her exam at Azim High School in Ausa.
Initially unsure about appearing for the exam, Disha was encouraged by her teacher, Shivaling Nagapure, and Sudhakar Telang, chairman of the Latur Divisional Board.
Disha's family, including her grandmother, mother, and younger brother, supported her decision to prioritize her education during this challenging time.
Her actions have been widely praised as a testament to her courage and dedication to her studies despite personal tragedy.
