An explosion at an industrial estate in Treforest, South Wales, has led to a major incident being declared, with emergency services responding to a large fire.
The incident has caused local NHS emergency departments to be placed on 'high alert', advising people not to attend A&E unless 'absolutely necessary'.
Roads around Severn Road in Treforest, where the industrial estate is located, are expected to remain closed for some time.
Local councillor Karl Johnson believes the incident occurred at Mindset Functional Fitness Ltd, with the front of the building 'completely destroyed' and a nearby car dealership also potentially affected.
Krishnaraj Nadarajah, the manager of a nearby Esso garage, described hearing a 'massive explosion' and said it felt like an earthquake.
