Conte expressed disappointment with the European Broadcasting Union's decision to ban the original title, citing the limited time available to make revisions before the competition deadline.
Local Maltese media reported that the BBC was responsible for lodging the initial complaint about the song's title with Eurovision organizers.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in Basel, Switzerland, with the grand final scheduled for May 17 and semi-finals on May 13 and 15.
