Man convicted on multiple charges for role in January 6 attack on U.S. Capitol

Chad Barrett Jones was found guilty of two felonies and seven misdemeanors for his participation in the January 6 riot.
Jones attempted to breach the Speaker's Lobby door using a flagpole moments before Ashli Babbitt was fatally shot.
Babbitt's death has become a rallying cry for some far-right groups.
Jones is one of over 1,000 people arrested for crimes related to the January 6 attack.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 8.
