Man Escapes Crocodile Attack by Prying Open Its Jaws

An Australian snorkeler survived a crocodile attack by forcing the crocodile's jaws open to free his head.
The man was snorkeling in Australia when a saltwater crocodile attacked him and clamped its jaws around his head.
He suffered injuries to his head, hands and scalp but was able to escape after prying the crocodile's jaws apart.
Bystanders heard the man screaming and rushed him to a hospital where he received treatment for his wounds.
Wildlife authorities are investigating the incident which involved a crocodile estimated to be 2-3 meters long.
