Man Found Hiding Under Child’s Bed in Kansas Faces Multiple Charges

Martin Villalobos Jr., who violated a protection order, is in custody on charges including aggravated burglary and child endangerment after being discovered by a baby-sitter in Great Bend.

The incident occurred on the night of March 24, 2025, when a baby-sitter discovered Martin Villalobos Jr. hiding under a child’s bed after the child reported a 'monster.'
An altercation ensued during which the baby-sitter and one of the children were knocked to the ground before Villalobos fled the scene.
Villalobos was apprehended the following day after a brief pursuit by law enforcement in the same area.
The suspect, who had previously lived at the property, was under a protection order barring him from being near the residence.
Villalobos faces charges including aggravated burglary, kidnapping, child endangerment, and violation of a protection order, with bail set at $500,000.
