Man Linked to Once-Missing Alicia Navarro Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse Charges

Edmund Davis, a 36-year-old man found cohabiting with the previously missing teen Alicia Navarro, faces potential life imprisonment after child sexual abuse material was discovered on his phone and other devices.

Edmund Davis, a 36-year-old Montana man linked to Alicia Navarro, a teen who went missing for four years, has been arrested on two felony counts of child sexual abuse, with charges based on explicit materials found on his phone and other devices.
Navarro, diagnosed with high-functioning autism, disappeared from her home in Arizona in 2019 and resurfaced in Montana in 2023, revealing she had been living with Davis, whom she referred to as her uncle.
During a police search at Davis's apartment, dozens of images of sexual abuse involving children under the age of 13 and two under the age of five were found on Davis’s cell phone and other electronic devices.
The charges related to Davis are independent of Navarro's missing person investigation, which is still ongoing; authorities are yet to detail how Navarro ended up in Montana and for how long she lived there.
Davis, currently held at Hill County Detention Center on a $1 million bond, faces up to life imprisonment if convicted of these charges.
