Man Seeks Advice on Finding Woman and Child from Past

After almost 50 years, he contemplates hiring a private investigator to locate them.

Almost 50 years ago, a man got a woman pregnant and she left the state. Two years later, she sent him a letter and a picture of their baby.
The man admits he was a terrible person and deserved the harsh words in the woman's letter.
Now that he's older, the man wants to know about the woman and their child. He doesn't want to reenter their lives, but he would like to see them.
