Man Sentenced to 7 Years for Storming Capitol While Armed During Jan. 6 Riot

Christopher Alberts wore body armor and carried a loaded handgun during the riot.
He attacked police officers outside the Capitol using a wooden pallet.
Alberts was a military veteran and one of the leaders of the mob that day.
He initially showed no remorse but later apologized to the officer he assaulted.
Over 1,000 people have been charged in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
