Man Traps Home, Injures Agent

Gregory Rodvelt boobytrapped his home in Oregon with spike strips, steel animal traps, a modified rat trap that fired a shotgun shell, and a wheelchair that triggered a homemade shotgun device.
An FBI bomb technician was injured by one of the traps as authorities investigated Rodvelt's home.
Rodvelt rigged the traps in retaliation after losing his home in a lawsuit and finding out the state appointed an attorney to sell the property.
Rodvelt had previously been involved in a standoff with Arizona police and was found with guns, bombmaking materials, and a manual on improvised explosives.
Rodvelt was found guilty of assaulting a federal officer and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence and faces up to 20 years to life in prison.
